We see our students every day in the variety of outfits they choose to wear, but most of the time we don’t look too closely because clothes tend to blend in with someone’s personality. Sometimes fashion can speak for itself, but we wanted to know what it was specifically about our students’ attire that reflected their characters. Please enjoy this CLE fashion photo shoot and the voices of our students reflecting their fashion statements.

Max at CLE Denver

“Fashion is just feeling good about how you look.”
– Max Jacobs

Brandon at CLE Denver

“I like to wear tee shirts that show off my interests.”
– Brandon Levine

Nami at CLE Denver

“I like to express my personality through fashion. I have an interest for the edgy look.”
– Nami Chen

Mark at CLE Denver

“Fashion can be an understatement when you try to be active and work for a better part of yourself. Looks don’t matter.”
– Mark Daza

Drew at CLE Denver

“There are people who wear outfits as a style, but then there are those who wear it as a statement. I’m into hard rock and heavy metal, and I frequently wear black clothing with dark shoes (I favor Vans and Converses). I know that dark clothes aren’t for everyone, and some people might think I’m a goth guy, but I’d prefer to be honest in what I wear.”
– Drew Smith

We hope you enjoyed a look into the fashion choices of our students. We thought we’d leave you with a quote from one of our students who preferred to remain anonymous, but really tapped into fashion:

“Fashion is a statement, not a style. Fashion does not have to work casually, nor outside the runway. Fashion is fit for all sizes, for all people of all ages. Fashion is an art of personal self-expression, not an excuse to be pretty, popular, or charismatic.”
