For over 35 years, College Living Experience (CLE) has been guided by a foundational belief: with personalized support, neurodiverse students can experience real growth and independence. Our dedicated team of educators, coaches, and professionals helps students pursue their education or career path, navigate independent living, and build meaningful connections within their community. For many, it’s their first time away from home.
Simple beginnings. In 1989, psychologist and special-needs educator Dr. Irene Spalter offered to help a friend’s son with learning disabilities navigate college. That single act of kindness became the spark for what would grow into CLE. Over the next three decades, the CLE team of passionate educators and professionals across the country transformed that vision into a nationally recognized program.
Today, CLE’s success reflects the work of countless experts who have poured their knowledge, care, and commitment into each student as an individual. Their work does not just shape one outcome in a semester; it shapes futures. The impact of tailored support ripples outward into careers launched, communities joined, degrees earned, and lives lived with confidence.
With eight locations across the United States, CLE offers tailored academic, career, independent living, and social support to hundreds of young adults each year. We are a village of support, empowering growth, student by student, success by success.
