Change is hard. Although change is one fact of life on which we can always count, that does not make the transition from the comfortable and familiar to that which is new and scary any easier. This is true for people of all different backgrounds and personalities, and can be especially true for individuals with disabilities.
Sharing Experiences
I just wanted to share some good news about our son. We went to my brother’s house for Christmas Eve and Will REALLY impressed everyone. My sister-in-law was almost in tears when she shared with me how happy she was that he was “involved” with the family. On the car ride, he was interacting with me and my husband ALL THE WAY HOME!!!
Again, I am so happy I found you guys. I know the jobs you do are not easy; but us parents are very grateful.
