Have you ever driven somewhere and thought to yourself, “How did I get here?” Or read an entire chapter of a book with no memory of what it was actually about?
There are things that you can do to lessen the chances of getting a cold or the flu but if it’s truly your turn, then you need to be equipped to fight the war!
Diabetes affects a lot of people in the world, and one-third of all people with diabetes don’t know they have the disease as it often presents no symptoms.
Kudos to ALL of our students for their persistence and hard work this past year, not only academically, but for the strides they have made in independent living skills and social development as well! The path to independence is full of hard work and dedication.
It is important to recognize that each day brings successes - sometimes small successes, stepping stones to larger ones, and sometimes big successes, the ending of one chapter and the start of another.
Here in Austin, Peyton and Ryan are perfect examples of students who go the extra mile and already love their work. With another successful semester over, I took a moment to ask these two some questions about what drives them to work so hard toward a degree and what they hope to accomplish.
