CLE is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff irrespective of race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We believe a positive and supportive environment for neurodiverse individuals is a central part of our community … and a right afforded to all individuals.
Our students come to us after high school or an interrupted college experience to pursue their college, employment or living goals. When they get to CLE, they find a supportive community that nurtures resilience, independence, self-advocacy, and friendship while they learn the skills they need to successfully transition to adult life.
Typically, CLE students are:
- Bound for college and want to experience everything college has to offer
- Are looking for a career or independent living skills
- Between the ages of 18-25, with a high school diploma or certificate of completion
- Diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, NVLD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or other learning differences
- Currently free from significant behavioral, mental health, or substance challenges
- With our coaching, they can live in an apartment setting and be able to safely navigate their community independently
