Comprehensive Support in Real-World Settings
We know living independently isn’t easy. That’s why CLE programming lasts a full 12 months, which is different than other programs. We feel this provides the best continuity for students to establish routines, build their community, and increase independence in their new homes without extended breaks to interrupt learning.
Tuition Breakdown
Includes extended orientation and 12 months of programming in academic coaching, career development, independent living skills instruction, social coaching, and participation in the CLE social community.
TRADITIONAL TUITION
DAY PROGRAM
California Residents
We are committed to keeping our tuition as stable as possible. To cover fixed costs, families may see an annual tuition increase of 3-5% each year. CLE will proactively share any tuition changes each spring to our students and families.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
Additional fees may include services or cost of living that are not included in your tuition, like:
School Tuition
CLE is a separate support program from school, which means tuition for the college or higher education you are enrolled in is not included, and families are responsible for paying that.
Our Academic Coordinator will work with you on registering with the college, and can help you find answers to questions about financial aid and other relevant topics.
Apartment & Housing
Each CLE center is nearby the complex in which our students live. Rent and any additional services, such as internet, power, water bills, etc., are all specific to the location a student attends.
Our Admissions team will work with each family to help them understand the local cost of living and the monthly housing budget.
Students enrolled in a four-year university who wish to stay in the dorm can discuss this with our staff.
Monthly Student Budget
CLE’s financial instructors work with students to budget for additional expenses, like utilities, text books, groceries, transportation, etc.
Weekly sessions help students manage and reconcile accounts to develop financial literacy.
ENROLLMENT PERIODS
We have two primary start times for all students: Fall and Spring Semesters.
We recommend students start during these times, and specific orientation dates and start dates are adjusted each year based on the college schedule. If appropriate (and if housing is available) we can look at an alternate/mid-semester start.
However, it is important to note that a mid-semester start will limit the participation in higher education classes.
