College Living Experience supports young adults with varying exceptionalities to prepare for life as independent adults. The CLE Program includes educational support services, training in independent living skills and social skills, and support services for transitioning into the workforce.
Young adults with autism, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and other special needs can successfully transition to independent adulthood with tailored support provided by CLE.
Job Summary
The CLE team is looking to add a versatile, proactive, detail-oriented, positive individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team and takes pride in their work.
This position is responsible for assisting the Career Development Team in assessing student interest inventories and vocational evaluations and providing direct employment instruction. Responsibilities include developing functional career goals, measuring individual student progress, and providing on-site job coaching. Additional duties include developing a network of internship, volunteer, and job placement opportunities with local and regional companies, as well as providing support to students who are in enrolled in certificate programs or in extra-curricular workshops within the community.
