CLE is proud to announce the 2017 CLE Enrichment Programs aimed at fulfilling our commitment to providing supports and services to students with varying disabilities. Each unique opportunity allows for students to discover and build upon a variety of skills that will aid in their transition to life after high school.
By participating in any one of our 3 Pre-College Programs, students will have a chance to gain insight into some of their favorite subjects through hands on learning, skill development, relationship building, and career/college exposure within a supported environment.
High School students, or recent graduates, travel from around the country to attend College Living Experience Exploration programs. Many of our summer programs do provide residential housing in area dormitories so students may experience independence with support.
Each of the unique Pre-College Exploration Programs is specifically designed for students with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders or other unique learning needs. Admission to CLE’s pre-college programs is based on the individual profile of each potential applicant.
Experience a snapshot of life after high school within a supportive environment. Students participate in their choice of college or vocational courses while enhancing their social development and independent living skills. Students live in dorms and attend non-credited courses at a nearby college campus.
Prepare for future employment and gain real world work experience. Students build upon their employment skills through a variety of volunteer placements. With individual and team support, students receive job coaching while having fun working with their peers.
Film Exploration is a two-week immersion into the world of film production. Students will work alongside their peers and industry professionals gaining insight into cinematic arts while also experiencing a taste of independent living in a supported environment.
