Join licensed occupational therapist and certified driving rehab specialist Heather Ackart for a session designed to help parents support their child’s first steps toward driving. Learn practical, strengths-based strategies to build confidence, foster independence, and practice foundational driving skills from the passenger seat.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Build confidence by focusing on strengths
  • Navigate barriers with personalized strategies
  • Support early skill-building from the passenger seat
  • Feel empowered as a parent and advocate

 

Heather Ackart
Heather Ackart has a background in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and a master’s in occupational therapy from Colorado State University. She helps individuals navigate the world in ways that are empowering, accessible, and meaningful. Raised in a neurodiverse family, Heather draws on personal and professional experience to support individuals and families of all ages in unlocking their unique strengths by adapting environments to reduce barriers. She is based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
